Biography

I am a rehabilitation nurse with clinical, administrative, and research expertise in cancer rehabilitation, interprofessional team science, clinical quality improvement, and implementing interventions to improve patient and family caregiver function and participation. My program of research focuses on embedding clinically feasible patient and caregiver functional assessment at the point of gynecologic oncology care and implementing family caregiver support interventions. I am a founding faculty member of the Family Care Center at UPMC Magee Gynecologic Oncology Program. Currently, I am project co-lead for Implementing a Stepped-“SmartRehab” Program for Persons with Cancer-Related Disabilities and their Family Caregivers: A Systemwide Scale-Up Project.
